Reduce child mortality

MDG 4
In 1990, worldwide 12.4 million children below five years old died. MDG 4 aims at reducing this number with two-thirds by 2015. Many children die because of conditions and illnesses that could be avoided or treated. For example: malaria, diarrhoea and measles.

The work of our volunteers provides children with access to medication, good hygiene and reasonable to good quality healthcare.
